Hey Backers! We Are Still Manufacturing - Further Explanation

Hey Backers!

Thank you all for sticking with us. We are extremely frustrated with the manufacturing delays.. We owe you a better explanation of what has happened. Our first towels we produced are pictured on the Kickstarter page. Once the campaign ended and we started production, we had a few test batches of towels to ensure quality, look, and feel of the towels. Below is a picture of the first batch sample- 

These towels didn't have the texture we wanted. It wasn't as soft as samples we received previously. We iterated on the towel and used a finer bamboo fiber to provide extra softness and we got the feel perfect to what we wanted. 

Next, we started sampling the towel colors. In our first color batch, there was a problem weaving the bamboo fiber and it turned out like this - 

Obviously, that looks terrible and we would never give our backers something that was sub-par. This caused more delays to get the weave/dying right. The next batch sample was the one that was posted in the update. Seen below - 

We didn't like the color and didn't think it was just right, so we went to work again. 

All problems aside, we have finally got the right quality, look, and feel and will be finishing manufacturing in the coming weeks. We sincerely apologize for the delays, it has been extremely frustrating to us as well. It has been a great learning moment for us and we are making the changes to ensure this does not happen again.

Manufacturing Delays! Sorry for the Wait!

Hey Backers!

Thank you so much for your support so far! We are extremely grateful for your help making Kanso a reality!  

There have been more delays in manufacturing. There has been a problem dying the bamboo fiber and getting the right color mixture. Below is a picture of one of our samples. As you can see, there is too much white in the mix for the towel. We are working to get the right color and quality for all our backers and to do that we need to remake some towels!

Thank you for all your patience. We are so grateful for people like you behind us. We are still manufacturing the towels as the quality we want takes a little longer to produce. We will keep you updated and let you know as soon as we get everything produced and ready to ship!

Hey Backers! 

We wanted to give you a quick update on manufacturing. Unfortunately, our manufacturer made some errors with the colors on the towels. We want to make sure we get you colors that match what you ordered. Due to this mix-up, manufacturing will take longer than expected. We expect the towels to be shipped next month. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, let us know if you need to change your address and we will get that addressed!

On another note, we will be locking the Backerkit surveys tomorrow so if you need to change anything in your Backerkit survey, do it now!
